Home and Apartment Cleaning Services
Sunshine Cleaning Service does things a bit different than many of our competitors. All homes and apartments are set up into “zones” for cleaning. Each zone has specific processes and steps to ensure that your housekeeper does not miss anything. A checklist must be completed before the job is considered finished. When the job is complete you can be sure your home is clean and fresh.
Zone 1 – Bathrooms
Your bathroom will receive a total transfomation. It will be clean, fresh, and free of germs as we disinfect all surfaces.
Zone 2 – Living Areas
Living areas (includes bedrooms) get a lot of traffic and get dirty easily. When we’re finished you will love the way it looks and smells.
Zone 3 – Kitchens
Kitchen cleaning is something most people hate. Not us. We love to hear the comments from our clients when they experience our services.
Zone 1 – Bathrooms
Bathrooms are a haven for germs, dust and dirt. We take great care to address everything in your bathroom(s) to ensure they are clean and disinfected each time. Below you will find the checklist that your housekeeper must use to clean each bathroom in your home or apartment.
- Remove Cobwebs: All cobwebs will be removed.
- Trash Can(s): We will empty all trash cans in each bathroom (if full) as well as clean each trash can if bags are not used. If bags are used we will replace each trash container with a new bag. Please have new bags available for us to use.
- Tubs/Showers: Separate or combined, we will scrub and clean shower walls, doors, and floors. All tub surfaces will be cleaned was well as faucets and handles. If there are lime deposits we will remove them.
- Mirrors: All mirrors will be cleaned and spot/streak free.
- Counter Tops: We clean all counter tops and surfaces in your bathroom.
- Bathroom Floors: Floors will be vacuumed and mopped. If there are rugs in the bathroom they will be vacuumed.
- Sink(s): Sinks are cleaned with non-abrasive cleaners and tools in the basin and on fixtures.
- Toilet: Toilets are scrubbed and completely cleaned inside and out.
- Doors and Walls: All walls and doors in the bathroom are wiped down.
- Cabinets: All bathroom cabinets will be wiped down on the outside only.
- Furniture: If there is any other furniture in the bathroom will will spot clean any marks and dust them all completely.
Zone 2 – Living Areas
Living rooms, dens, basements, office spaces, and bedrooms are high traffic areas that gather dirt, dust and grime on a daily basis. Take a look at our checklist below to see what your maid will complete when cleaning these areas.
- Ceiling Fans: All blades and body of ceiling are dusted.
- Cobwebs: Your housekeeper will remove cobwebs from corners, ceilings, and behind furniture.
- Trash can(s): Trash in any/all spaces will be emptied and taken to your garbage cans outside.
- Furniture: In bedrooms we will make your bed and change your linens. (you must leave linens on bed for us). Furniture in all other living areas will be vacuumed and/or wiped down as needed.
- Floors and Rugs: All floors and rugs will be vacuumed. If you have wood/laminate or other solid material floors we will dry mop for cleanliness.
- Stairs: Vacuuming or mopping of stairs as required and hand clean stair rails.
- Pictures/Artwork: We will dust all framing of photos and art.
- Beds: Beds will made. Sheets can be changed if you leave out the new set for us.
Zone 3 – Kitchens
Kitchens probably the highest trafficked area and therefore one of the dirtiest. As with all other rooms in your home we make sure to address everything in your kitchen and disinfect surfaces each and every time. Below you will find the checklist that your housekeeper must use to clean your kitchen.
- Remove Cobwebs: All cobwebs will be removed.
- Trash Can(s): We will empty all trash cans and clean each trash can if bags are not used. If bags are used we will replace each trash container with a new bag. Please have new bags available for us to use.
- Sinks: We will scrub, clean, and polish your sinks. All sink surfaces will be cleaned was well as faucets and handles. If there are lime deposits we will remove them.
- Counter Tops: We clean all counter tops and surfaces in your kitchen.
- Kitchen Floors: Floors will be vacuumed and mopped or dry mopped if applicable for laminate/wood floors.
- Cabinets: All kitchen cabinets will be wiped down on the outside only. (inside available at addtional charge)
- Fridge: Outside of fridge will be wiped down and cleaned. (inside cleaning available at additional charge)
